The Guantanamo Bay (GITMO) Detention Center was established in 2002 to hold 9/11 terrorist suspects following the September 11 attacks. The proceedings have been mired in legal challenges, delays, and controversy—raising difficult questions.

Registration is now open for VOICES 2025 NYC Symposium! Once again, we are proud to host the event in collaboration with the LinCT-AA, INVICTM, and several of our 9/11 Community Partners. The event is held in person and broadcast live.

VOICES is offering an online Preparedness workshop to provide individuals and families with strategies to prepare in advance of an emergency. Led by Stephanie Landau, participants will learn the basic components of how to be better prepared, whether sheltering in place or evacuating.

June is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness month. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, approximately 13 million adults in the United States experience PTSD in a given year.
