About VOICES

Voices Center for Resilience (VOICES) is a non-profit organization that assists communities in preparing for and recovering from traumatic events and provides long-term support and resources that promote mental health care and wellness for victims’ families, responders and survivors.

Voices Center for Resilience, formerly known as Voices of September 11th, builds upon our unique legacy of providing long-term support for the 9/11 community, while sharing our nearly two decades of expertise to assist those impacted by other tragedies in the United States and abroad.

VOICES helps families heal after tragedy, a vital mission that began after 9/11. Today, the organization continues to address the long-term needs of those impacted by 9/11, while helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from other acts of mass violence and disasters.

From 9/11 to today, VOICES has assisted communities preparing for and recovering from tragedy, and provided long-term support and resources that promote mental health care and wellness, for victims’ families, responders and survivors. Here you can view the milestones, that further encompasses that mission throughout the years.

VOICES is grateful to the individuals, foundations, and corporate sponsors who have made it possible for us to pursue our mission to provide assistance to 9/11 families, rescue workers and survivors over the last fourteen years. Thanks to this generous support, we have been able to help families commemorate their loved ones through the 9/11 Living Memorial project.

VOICES is fortunate to partner with leading non-profit organizations, foundations, and government agencies to provide needed support services for those impacted by tragedies and mass violence.

VOICES depends upon the contributions of individuals to continue working on behalf of all those affected by September 11, 2001 and other terrorist attacks.
