About:

A monument to the Queens Firefighters.

Physical Monument has two parts; a smaller wall with the names of all 76 firefighters, split by a piece that is twice the height of the small wall, which shows a firefighter and his irons, superimposed over a picture of the twin towers. The second part is an upright slab of stone with an inscription.

Inscription Reads:
The gift you gave, the price you paid
will never be forgotten,
as surely as your life you gave,
our gratitude is written;
Inscribed today on history's page
for all the world to see,
a lore of one who modeled courage,
a hero's legacy.
