It was a beautiful September day. I had an appointment at the car dealer in Jersey City, but was running late. Last week, Bob was busting me about coming in late, so I cancelled my appointment at the car dealer. I called them at 7:15.

United Airlines Flight 175 struck the 78th through 84th floors of the South Tower at almost 9:03 a.m., 16 1/2 minutes after a jet hit the North Tower. On September 11, 2001, I was in a front row center seat at Ground Zero, Manhattan.
