You were such a lovely, vibrant person, with a zest for life that was unmatched.

I am so sorry this unfathomable tragedy took you from your loved ones.

After the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I saw an Instagram post of someone running a mile for each life lost. I was inspired and so now I am hiking a mile to honor the lives lost on that day, a day to never forget and lives to never forget.

On 10/20/2026, I hiked a mile in honor of Gertrude “Trudi” M. Alagero.

God bless.
