Biography:

Mark Whitford, 31, of Salisbury Mills, New York, formerly of Staten Island, New York, an Army Reserve veteran, a fireman with Engine Co. 23 in New York City, died while trying to save others at the World Trade Center on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2002, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home Inc., 20 North Street, Washingtonville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, April 9, 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, Washingtonville. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to David T. Ferguson Funeral Home Inc., Washingtonville, New York.
