To the Montanaro family—so much time has passed since that tragic attack! Sadly, it was only years later that I discovered a family member had lost their life in it! It has weighed heavily on my mind ever since! Unfortunately, I was unable to help or offer you support! My greatest wish would be to visit the family and lay flowers at Ground Zero! I cannot express how deeply this pains me! On the day of the attack, something compelled me to turn on the television. I usually hate watching such images! But something kept me from looking away! To this day, I cannot explain it! It was an irresistible urge! I don't know if it's just my imagination or not... But when I heard that Kristen was among the victims, everything made sense! Those images still haunt me! I am still troubled by the fear, the panic, and the despair Kristen must have felt! God bless you, her parents, her siblings, and the entire family! Carlo Montanaro
