My high school gives ribbons with the names of the innocents killed in 9/11 to all of the students every year. I had Mr. Monahan. This article was touching and sad and I wish all the best to his family and friends, as they must be grieving on this day. He seemed like a wonderful man with great morals, and I'm glad that I was given the opportunity to read, think, and pray about this man and his family. My condolences, and God bless.

Dad, I was only 3 when you were taken from us and I never got a chance to really know you and spend time together the way I wish we could have. There are so many things I wish I could have done with you. You waited so long to see the Jets win and that they are finally doing it we just wish you could be here to see it with us. We love you and miss you R.I.P. John Gerard Monahan July 31 1955-September 11, 2001
