After the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I saw an Instagram post of someone running a mile for each life lost. I was inspired and so now I am hiking a mile to honor the lives lost on that day, a day to never forget and lives to never forget.

On 11/2/2026, I hiked a mile in honor of Kermit Charles Anderson.

I was glad to read about the special trips that Kermit and his wife shared to British Columbia and Belgium.

God bless Kermit and his loved ones.
