While the gazebo is the centerpiece of this memorial, there are also two plaques to commemorate the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The first plaque is dedicated to all those who were lost in the terrorist attack, while the second is dedicated to Eddie Oliver. Eddie Oliver was a floor trader for NYMEX, but more importantly, Eddie Oliver was a husband, father, son, and brother.
