Tommy I cannot believe it has been 10 years. I think about you and Eddie all of the time. You are a true hero and I miss you. RIP Tommy. Love you.

I still wear my 9-11 bracelet with your name on it so i will never forget that day... rest in peace..and thank you...

Biography:

Tommy DeAngelis typified everything that is good about mankind and the Fire Department for the City of New York. He was a man who dedicated his life and his career to service and to making New York City safer for its citizens. He was also a man who because of his intelligence, hard work and dedication rose through the ranks to reach the upper echelons of the Department.

Tommy, like so many others who died with him on September 11th, joined the FDNY by choice. He had the talent and the drive to do almost anything that he wanted with his life and with his career. But for Tommy, the Fire Department was a calling. Tommy DeAngelis was also a man who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Everyone who had the fortune of knowing Tommy remember him for the twinkle in his eye and for his smile...
