Still feels like yesterday and unless you lost someone that day you just don't realize the impact. Death or losing a loved one is hard, period but being taken in such a way makes the healing process so much harder for me. I live each day to make you proud day and try to be a quarter of the person you were. My dad, my hero </3

Biography:

Laurence F. Nedell, 52, of Lindenhurst, was an insurance underwriter at Aon Corp. in the south tower. After the north tower was hit, he called his wife, Lorraine, to say he loved her.

"My dad was always so selfless and he proved it up to his last breath. He went back in to help another co-worker and was last seen carrying that gentleman on his back on the 72nd floor. My father is a hero like all lost that horrible day. I have the most amazing family and friends that I find my strength in. My mother and my sister are two of the strongest women I know and we all lean on each other for support. I try and live my life every day for him, to make him proud in hopes of being half the person he was. We all miss him so much from his giving heart to his contagious laughter." Jennie Nedell
