It's been almost eight years

It's been almost eight years since you left us and I still find it hard to believe that you are gone. Michael Kino and I miss you very much. We will always love you and cherish the memories we shared.

Requiem

I wore your picture and name on the 1st anniversary of your last day. The Chorus, in Olympia Washington, was part of the worldwide singing of Mozart's Requiem. I still grieve you.

Condolences

Hi, I'm a High School student doing a project in remembrance of 9/11. I wanted to say I am sorry for your loss. Gary seems like he was an amazing person, father, husband, and friend.

In honor of Gary

After the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I saw an Instagram post of someone running a mile for each life lost. I was inspired and so now I am hiking a mile to honor the lives lost on that day, a day to never forget and lives to never forget.

On 10/24/2026, I hiked a mile in honor of Gary Albero.
