I'm sorry for you lost. I've been learning about 9/11 in school every since it happened. I'm sure it was very sad.

After the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I saw an Instagram post of someone running a mile for each life lost. I was inspired and so now I am hiking a mile to honor the lives lost on that day, a day to never forget and lives to never forget.

Today, on 10/6/2026, I hiked a mile in honor of Emmanuel Afuakwah.
