I remember the day you mom and I spent with Voices to begin putting this memorial together. Thank you so much for forwarding it to me. I could barely see as I clicked on the last few photos. The one that hurt the most was of John carving the Turkey! I guess its that time of year. Thanksgiving has not been the same without you. Actually nothing has!! Miss you more

To John's sister: Thank you so much for sharing John and your experience in setting up this tribute to your brother. It was a pleasure meeting you at the library and we are sure John is very proud of the great job that you did. He was a true hero!

He was a very brave man to save so many lives. Please know that your loved one is being remembered and honored today! Blessings to your family
