Biography:
Major Dwayne Williams, 40, was a native of Jacksonville, Alabama. He was a graduate of the University Of North Alabama. Major Williams was a dedicated soldier, husband, father, and friend. He touched hundreds of lives with his enthusiasm, his energy, and his love for God and country. He died honorably as a soldier would, serving his army, country, fellow soldiers, and God. America has lost an outstanding soldier, husband, father, brother and son. However, we are comforted in knowing that "while he is absent from the body, he is present with the Lord." Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Tammy; 17 year-old son, Shelby; 13 year-old, daughter Kelsie. Tribute submitted by Tammy Williams.
