Obituary: Jeanette Costello, 76, Formerly Of Weston

A longtime resident of Weston, Jeanette left her mark on the community through her dedicated service to many organizations. Jeanette’s passion for art and her technical skills inspired her to return to school and earn a degree in graphic design. She enjoyed sharing these skills as a volunteer for the VOICES organization, contributing to their 9/11 Living Memorial Project. More.

FDNY EMS honors fallen 9/11 EMT by renaming NYC street

The FDNY held a ceremony for the renaming of Hilda Vannata Way, at the intersection of 77th Place and Juniper Valley Road in Queens, honoring an EMT for her legacy of kindness and dedication to assisting others. More.
