Local politicians join chorus of outrage over planned 9/11 museum admission fee

Local lawmakers ripped the Ground Zero museum's plan to charge admission, saying no one should be forced to open their wallets to pay their respects at the site of America's worst tragedy.

Politicians - from mayoral hopefuls to the city's congressional delegation - strongly opposed the plan to charge $20 to $25 when the National September 11 Memorial & Museum opens next April. More.
