5K Memorial Walk at Monmouth Battlefield State Park

Join the 10th anniversary of "WALK WITH JOE", a memorial 5K walk honoring Patrick "Joe" Driscoll, Christopher Gray and Tom McCann, local area residents who lost their lives on September 11th. The walk will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Manalapan, NJ. The "Always Remember" Commemorative Book will be sent to all our family members in the first week of June. We are grateful to the hundreds of people who have contributed to this project. Family members have created beautiful tributes to their loved ones. Friends and associates we have worked with over the past ten years have contributed their reflections. Artists have generously shared their talents with all of us. We look forward to visiting with many of you on June 20th at the 5th Annual Always Remember Gala. It will again be held at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers, a beautiful venue overlooking the Hudson River. It is always a very special evening and we are grateful that so many of you join us each year to raise funds to support the 9/11 Living Memorial Project and our ongoing work to provide programs for 9/11 families, rescuers and survivors. Depression and Anxiety Screenings May 14 - May 31

Depression and Anxiety Screenings
The month of May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. VOICES professional social workers are pleased to offer free, anonymous telephone screenings for depression and anxiety from May 14th through May 31st between 9AM and 5PM. Please call our New Jersey office at 732-543-2300 if you would like to be screened or are simply interested in learning more. Parents are also welcome to call to evaluate whether their children are at risk. If you would like to learn more about the symptoms of anxiety and depression, click here.

The Michael C. Rotherberg 9/11 Memorial Scholarship Dinner
The 9th annual Michael C. Rothberg 9/11 Memorial Scholarship Dinner will be held Thursday, May 24, at Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA. The dinner includes a silent auction and all funds raised over the course of the night will benefit the Michael C. Rothberg September 11th Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship honors the memory of Michael Rothberg by awarding three eligible seniors who exemplify Michael's academic promise, integrity, and service to community at Sharon High School with merit-based scholarships. The Captain Martin J. Egan 5-K Walk/Run
The Captain Martin J. Egan 5-K Memorial Walk/Run will be held Sunday, May 20, at the Midland Beach Picnic Area in Staten Island, NY. The event begins at 10 am, and honors the life of Marty Egan, who grew up in Midland Beach and was a member of the track team at Monsignor Farrell High School. The funds raised will finance a scholarship in Marty's name at Farrell, where Marty graduated from in 1982. Please return the application by May 10.
